Neighborhood Message Board:
If you are sincere about wanting the neighborhood to improve, please take some time out to review and fill out the survey page.
The streets are owned by the city of Sumter and the potholes are their responsibility to repair. Please report any potholes sighted on Hunters Crossing Community roads to the City of Sumter public works at 803-436-2658.
Monthly inspections are being conducted.
Please continue to maintain your homes & yards.
Several residents, homeowners and/or renters, are parking vehicles, boats or trailers on the side or front of their properties.
Trash receptacles are being placed in front of homes; cars are being parked at intersections, and there is noticeable mildew on the side of many homes.
We have seen a decrease in the number of vehicles parked in the streets, yet it continues to be an ongoing issue in certain sections of the community.
Parking on the streets impedes traffic, access to the community for emergency vehicles, and creates blind spots that make it difficult for adjacent neighbors to enter and exit their driveways. Outside entities such as the Transportation Department with the Sumter Co. School District, the local Fire Department, and USPS that serve our community have expressed this concern with the HOA Management Company and HOA Board of Directors.
The slide was damaged at the playground. The slide has been removed. Please supervise your children and avoid the taped & coned areas.
The next Quarterly meeting will be held on July 26, 2025, at the Hunters Crossing Pavilion on Mossberg Dr. at 6:00 P.M
